Lophomyrtus ralphii is a compact, evergreen shrub with glossy, decorative leaves in a variety of colours such as purple, bronze and green, depending on the cultivar. This plant is ideal as a solitary, in mixed borders or as a low hedge in sheltered, frost-free gardens. Suitable for both open ground and pots, provided it is protected from severe frost.
